One Man & His Dog (Supporting Mens Mental Health)
Launching in 2021 this social group is all about bringing guys together to help support each other with their mental health when things like depression and anxiety are a part of a persons daily life. Having personally experienced my own mental health taking a huge hit towards the end of 2019 and being diagnosed with depression i know how hard it can be to be able to voice your concerns or express yourself day to day.
Gathering for social walks and meets where individuals can choose to talk or just enjoy a walk in the countryside. Usually arranged around an opportunity for coffee and cake it is a great chance to be around people who understand what you are going through. Plus you get to be around lovely dogs too!
There is no need to own a dog as we can either lend you one or you can just enjoy being in the company of other peoples dogs. You will need to sign up to each walk but they are totally FREE to attend.
Please join our new facebook group One Man & His Dog to get up to date info and to be part of a community that supports Mens Mental Health.
Hockerton One Man & His Dog Walks happen every Saturday at 3pm.
